This is an interesting RED SPIRAL JASPER crystal skull. I love these! The longer you look at this one, the more beauty you will see. It has excellent striped/banded patterns throughout. A very striking piece. There are white-ish/grey-ish veins of AGATE here and there, and some of them in the top/back of the head have tiny sparkles of golden PYRITE inside. Like flecks of glitter!
There may be a few tiny organic spots present from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was polished.
