This is a life size Agate GEODE crystal skull. Shown next to standard sized 12oz/355ml soda can for size comparison. This is approximately the size of a human teenager. It weighs about 9lbs 9.1oz / 4.340kgs.
It has a very cool VUG across the top of the nose that is lined with sparkly Druzy crystals! Vugs are natural formations, sometimes also known as "crystal cave inclusions", and considered highly collectible. The blue-grey Agate running down the face reminds me of a mask! Interesting crystalline formations from a high Quartz content are present ALL throughout, and many have small shimmery areas or rainbows within them that show up as you move the stone around in your hands. Golden yellow/orange HEMATITE veils are present in the left side of the head, and tiny reddish brown speckles of Hematite are also lining/outlining some of the blue-grey areas.
The level of detail throughout is just beautiful. Each time you look at this one, you'll find a new and cool formation to focus on. One of a kind and super energetic! Much nicer in person than any photo could ever show - I guarantee it.
The stone does have a few small organic spots here and there that were close to the surface as the stone was polished. They can resemble small notches fine lines, shallow indents, etc. ALL inclusions present in this piece come from 100% natural formations in the stone.
