This is a Dragon's Blood Jasper LIZARD totem. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. It has lovely greens and vibrant accents of bright red with a bit of darker red and green mixed in. AKA Dragon’s Blood Stone, Dragon Stone, Dragonstone. It is sometimes identified as a variety of Bloodstone, which is incorrect. Bloodstone is an entirely different stone, and a member of the Chalcedony family. It is actually mainly composed of 2 colors of Epidote! The more common green, and a bright red variant that gets its coloring from a high Iron content. The patterns are quite intricate! It is much nicer 'in person' than photos can show - I guarantee it!
It has a handful of tiny organic spots here and there from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was polished. They can resemble pinpricks, shallow indents, or fine lines/linear indents on the surface of the stone. ALL inclusions present come from 100% natural formations in the stone. The photos just can't do it justice - it is much nicer 'in person', I guarantee it! Check out how it works with subtle energies below.
It weighs about 1.2oz and measures approximately 69mm/2.71" inches long X 35mm/1.37" inches wide at the widest point. Code-112123-3763
As a Totem Animal, the Lizard is tied closely to dreaming. People with a lizard totem need to remember to listen to their own intuition, and not let others make them doubt. Lizard teaches us to pay attention to our dreams, and helps show us things in dreams that we may not be able to see when we're awake. The Lizard also assists in learning detachment - an important quality in life. We must not allow ourselves to get lose ourselves in someone else's drama. Lizard reminds us to take a step back, and separate ourselves from others when necessary.
Dragon’s Blood Jasper - AKA Dragon’s Blood Stone, Dragon Stone, Dragonstone -This stone is often identified as a variety of Bloodstone. It is not. This Sorosilicate mineral's main components are Epidote, Iron, Aluminum, and Calcium. Bloodstone is entirely different, and is a form of Chalcedony.
Dragon’s Blood Jasper has loads of extremely energetic molecular tetrahedron formations: they are what Sorosilicate minerals are made of! This stone has a large amount of Sorosilicates (which all minerals in the Epidote group of minerals are) and they are formed with two silicate tetrahedrons in every molecule: four oxygen molecules surrounding one silicate molecule. Tetrahedrons are powerful formations, associated with the element of fire and the actions of empowerment and manifestation. THIS is a key reason the stone is called Dragon’s Blood - NOT because it is bloodstone.
This green color of this stone comes mainly from Epidote and it is known as a stone of fulfillment and increase. This is because the frequency of Epidote has a tendency to increase the energy field of many other things. Dragon’s Blood Jasper also does this. The red color comes from a high Iron content, which is why it also assists one in staying grounded, although it is associated with the third chakra, not the root.
It is a stone that enhances emotional and spiritual growth. It helps to cleanse the aura/energy field repressed emotions and helps with patience. It is said to enhance ones perceptions and engender a feeling of enthusiasm for life, confidence in self and empowerment. It supports change and growth through positive transformation. All of these things are important parts of one’s ability to manifest what they truly desire.
