This is a carved Carnelian full body Unicorn. It has been here charging with Synergy for 5+ years.
The delicate features are very difficult to carve in Agate, and it took a LOT of skill to bring this lovely crystal being to life out of a single piece of stone. It stands upright beautifully! The background is a blue-grey color, with gold translucence that shines through around the edges when it is held up to a bright light. There is an interesting VUG, AKA "crystal cave inclusion", on the top of the mane, with a black Dendritic inclusion next to it. This vug comes from a much softer mineral (likely Calcite) growing with the Agate originally, but wearing down as time went on - leaving behind the "cave"!
A few small organic spots are present here and there, from inclusions/formations that were close to the surface as the Unicorn was shaped and polished. I inspect each piece very carefully before photographing. ALL formations are 100% natural parts of the stone.
It weighs about 5.2oz and measures approx. 3 1/8" inches tall X 5 5/16" inches long (tip of horn to tip of tail). Code-011424-3774
As a totem animal, the Unicorn represents purity and innocence. It is said that the Unicorn gives us the ability to make our dreams come true, and helps to restore broken spirits on an emotional level. The Unicorn also has connections to the Spirits of the Forests, and the Fairy Folk.
Dendritic Agate - The word dendritic literally means “having a branched form resembling a tree.” Dendritic agate has interesting inclusions, resembling resemble tiny trees or plant life.
These inclusions are made from Iron, Psilomelane or Manganese, and are brown or black in color.
Dendritic Agate supports harmony with, and a strong connection to, Mother Earth and to Devas/Nature Spirits/Beings. It's another "Gardner's stone."
It is also used to stimulate and grow a business in a creative way; in fact it is felt to support growth in almost any way you can think of.
