This is a hand sculpted GODDESS CERRIDWEN statue. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. Welsh Goddess of the underworld and keeper of the Cauldron of Knowledge, which represents the womb from which all life comes. Considered to be both Mother and Crone. Her dress is a rich metallic gold with reddish brown trim. Her dark hair is in a long braid and has a subtle pearly luster to it. She is holding a white speckled bowl (with some sparkles mixed into it), in which a small offering or special item can be placed. She sits upright beautifully. She would make a lovely addition to an altar or sacred arrangement, as well as a beautiful display piece.
She measures about 2 5/8" inches tall X 1 1/2" inches wide across the widest point (the sides of her arms).
Handcrafted especially for me from multiple colors of polymer clay, and signed on the bottom. Sculpted in a dog friendly home - there may be a piece of "natural confetti", or fur present somewhere.
