This is a lifesize Melody Stone CRYSTAL SKULL. Most recently also known as "Synergy 7", but also known as "Sacred 7", "Super 7", or "Melody's Stone". Shown next to a standard 12oz/355ml soda can for size comparison. Approx the size of a human adult.
Super 7 specimens retain the properties of 7 minerals - Quartz, Amethyst, Smokey Quartz, Rutiles, Goethite, Lepidocrocite, and Cacoxenite (even when the specimen does not visibly show all 7 minerals.) This particular piece has a predominantly purple Chevron Amethyst background, with interesting hints of Smoky and Hematite here and there. Tiny shimmery areas and hints of rainbow sheen catch the light here and there as you move the stone around in your hands.
There are a few small places in the top of the head where a tiny bit of epoxy filler was used. I generally prefer my stones left natural, but the energy of this one is SO NICE that I had to share it with the world. The price has been discounted accordingly. They are quite subtle, but you can feel a tiny raised edge here and there (3-4 total).
There are a few tiny organic spots here and there from inclusions that were close to the surface as the stone was shaped and polished. They can resemble small notches, pinpricks, fine lines on the surface, etc. Including a little indent on the corner of the back of the jaw, left side. ALL inclusions come from 100% natural formations in the crystal. The photos do not do this piece justice, it is much nicer 'in person'. I guarantee it! Super Seven, also known as Melody's Stone or Sacred 7, is a very spiritual stone.
