This is a NEW and fantastic XL Brecciated Pink Fluorite crystal skull. Shown next to a US quarter coin for size comparison. This material is from Mexico. I LOVE both the energy and the stunning visuals. Raspberry pink and purple-ish Fluorite inclusions are set in a high Quartz content matrix. Reddish orange Iron/Hematite staining is present here and there, along with small accents of black and white. There are small VUGS present throughout, some of which are lined with sparkly crystals. Vugs are natural formations, sometimes also known as "crystal cave inclusions", and considered highly collectible. It has some subtle darker pink-ish/red fluorescence under a strong UV light. It is more finely dispersed as the Fluorite is mixed in throughout, and not large crystals on the surface. The polish is more semi-matte than glossy, to highlight the interesting physical structure and features of the stone. What does "brecciated" mean? This refers to the somewhat patchwork-like formations in the stone, with a variety of different materials present.
A variety of physical textures are present. All inclusions present are from 100% natural formations in the stone.
